DNA Drawing contest has started

The 9^th art has the place of honour at the Collectoo Festival and BD Mania Show in relation with DNA Newspaper and Neko-Mix Association.

The Collectoo Festival will be livened up by several drawing contests in which you can take part in before and during the event.

Autres prix : BD, manga, DVD anime, jeux vidéo...

Les œuvres retenues pour le concours seront exposées à l'Espace BD Mania pendant le Festival Collectoo.

Comment participer : Il vous suffit de réaliser votre œuvre et de la retourner aux DNA avant le 13/01/2005 accompagneée de vos coordonnées (nom, adresse, tél. , mail) et âge. Le concours est ouvert à tous les amateurs de dessins et de peintures. Adresse : DNA - Service Promotion - BP 70249 - 67006 Strasbourg cedex.
2 catégories : moins de 15 ans et 15 ans et plus.
Format : du 21 x 29 cm au 50 x 65 cm.
Technique de dessin : toutes les techniques sont acceptées
Délibération du Jury : Samedi 15 janvier (matin)
Remise des Prix : Samedi 15 janvier à 16h (les gagnants seront informés par téléphone et mail avant 13h00). Règlement du concours disponible en ligne ou sur demande par courrier aux DNA.

During the COLLECTOO Festival

Neko-Mix Association's ATELIERS 9D will liven up the Drawing Contest area during the two-day festival. You will be offered several activities and drawing contests :

Saturday 15^th

all day long	the «Panneau d'Or» (or Golden Board)
2.00 pm to 5.00 pm	the Live Contest
6.30 pm	presentation of the Live Contest's award.

Sunday 16^th

all day long	the «Panneau d'Or» (or Golden Board)
time not set up yet	the SD Contest

The Live Contest

To win this contest with given theme and length, participants will need to show not only graphic qualities but even more originality.

The contest will take place in several rounds, each time bringing together the quickest and most creative participants (as quickness and creativity, along with respect of the theme, are the main selection criteria). Registrations will take place on the spot.

The SD Drawing Contest

The idea is to draw a famous hero (at least known of the people visiting the show), but in a simplified and funny way (known as «Super Deformed» or SD, a kind of caricature). The interest is to allow the largest part of the public to participate, the SD style allowing those who don't really master graphic techniques to make fine drawings. Neko-Mix members will be there to welcome and advise participants.

The «Panneau d'Or» (or Golden Board)

During the show, Neko-Mix Association will lead an «autographs» area open to everybody : to visitors as well as guests, organizers, VIPs, exhibitors and any other people who might take part in the Collectoo Festival.

Participants will have the opportunity to leave their impressions about the show, either with a note or a drawing. Big paper sheets hung up on walls will be used as supports. Felt-pens and pencils, possibly paint, will be at participants' disposal.

This area will be open to everybody, even those who won't take part but will only come to look at the works achieved. Above all, we want to offer a friendly atmosphere and provide a meeting point for all the people who make the festivals.
