What's Cosplay ?
Originated with Japanese but stemming from English, the word "Cosplay" comes from the contraction between the words "costume" and "play". Cosplay is an entertainment native to Japan, which was exported in a lot of countries, including France.
It is a big meeting which brings together manga, animation and video game fans coming all dressed up.
They will stroll down the exhibitions' path, dressed up as their favorite character, with costumes they made themselves. They usually like to have their picture taken.
They also parade on stage with a choreography suited to the character they represent, and are elected by a jury who votes for the best costumes. Crazy and colourful ! You don't want to miss this show ...
